1992 was a great year for ABBA fans and those who fell in love with the music of ABBA thanks to Erasure's 1992 4 track tribute known as ABBA-esque. ABBA Gold is one of my all time favorite listens. This 19-song collection was the first greatest hits compilation created for featuring the 1970s supergroup after years in which ABBA's music had been off the market. Gold and it's subsequent release More ABBA Gold was a welcome addition to ABBA's catalog of brilliant albums. No matter if you are a hardcore fan of ABBA or casual listeners looking for the ABBA experience without committing to sorting through their entire discography, this is most straightforward collection of the group’s most popular tunes. Since 1992, ABBA Gold has been re-released several times, most notably in 1999 with the first remastered and an expanded remastered release in 2014 to mark the group's 40th anniversary of winning the Eurovision Song Contest. As for Adrian's favorite tunes from ABBA Gold, those would be Take A Chance On Me, Knowing Me Knowing You, Voulez-Vous, Does Your Mother Know and Lay All Your Love On Me.
