The Restaurant Quality Ranch Dressing Not In Stores

So after many years I've cracked the recipe. I'm a huge fan of the Ranch dressing at Sonny's, Golden Corral, Chili's and a few other restaurants. Many restaurants have switched to bottled, jarred or canned dressing which tastes just like the stuff in the grocery store...I began to buy the ranch dressing packets and mixed the ingredients myself, it was close to the dressings I loved but not quite the same. So I've finally cracked the dressing recipe.

1 Cup Mayo (for those with mayo allergies you could sub sour cream in it's place in addition to the sour cream listed below)
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1/2 Cup Milk (you could also use buttermilk for extra creaminess)
1/2 tsp dried chives
1/2 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp dillweed
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper (use 1/2 tsp cracked peppercorn to clone Cracker Barrel's Cracked Peppercorn Ranch)

Mix or shake (I use my Tupperware Quick Shake Container) Refrigerate at least 30 minutes for flavors to meld together and enjoy.

If you find that your dressing is too runny add 1/2 cup sour cream. If you find that it is too thick, add 1/4 cup milk.
